StepLED Behavior

1.Plug in the Powerline Transmitter near your router and connect them with an Ethernet cable.

2. Plug in the Powerline Receiver where you would like to extend your Wi-Fi network.

1.Power LED is amber at beginning

 

2.When device is ready to work, LEDs return to normal state.

 

3. When the Powerline Transmitter finds the Powerline Receiver via Powerline, the Powerline LED turns to green

TIP: If the Powerline Transmitter doesn't find the Powerline receiver, then bring them into the same room and try again.

StepLED Behavior

1. Press the Powerline Receiver button until Power LED becomes solid amber. (Need to press for at least 5 seconds)

2. After releasing the button, the Wireless LED will start blinking

3. Press the WPS button on the router to copy the Wireless Network Name and Password

 

4-a. If the Wireless Network Name and Password are copied, the Wireless LED will stop blinking and Power LED will become solid amber again for 6 seconds.

4-b. If the Powerline Receiver doesn’t find the router for 120 seconds, the wireless LED will stop blinking and power LED will stay green.
TIP: If this happens then try moving the Powerline Receiver to a socket nearer the router
